The HFN strain gage is a Nichrome V alloy wire
grid with a high fatigue strength and excellent
oxidation resistance. They are an excellent choice
for dynamic stress measurements on turbine blades
and engines, exhaust systems, and power plant
applications.
Gages are supplied on glass slides with a tape
carrier - 5 per package. Installation methods
include flame sprayed ceramic rod or ceramic cement.
Tapeless free filament grids and high fatigue Z-type
leads can be custom ordered.Also available in a
pre-installed weldable assembly.

that provide excellent high temperature oxidation
resistance, and low, stable temperature coefficients
of resistance. Widely used for test and failure
analysis in aerospace and automotive applications.

HFK Strain Gages are constructed of K alloy (Evanohm)
that is factory heat treated to provide temperature
compensation on standard materials; 6ppm/°F. Useful
for static measurements in long term monitoring
applications.
Gages are supplied on glass slides with a tape
carrier - 5 per package.
Installation methods include flame sprayed
ceramic rod or ceramic cement.
Tapeless free filament grids and high fatigue Z-type
leads can be custom ordered.
Also available in a pre-installed weldable
assembly.

Gage Patterns |
| HFH bondable strain gages are constructed of an
iron chrome aluminum alloy (Hoskins 875™) providing
high resistivity and excellent oxidation resistance.
Recommended for high temperature static measurements
where a compensating gage, a half bridge, or full
bridge configuration is used.
Gages are supplied on glass slides with a tape
carrier - 5 per package. Installation methods
include flame sprayed ceramic rod or ceramic cement.
Tapeless free filament grids and high fatigue Z-type
leads can be custom ordered.
Also available in a pre-installed weldable
assembly.

HFM Strain Gages are constructed of Moleculoy®
alloy with superior oxidation resistance and
excellent mechanical strength for high temperature
vibratory testing. The flattened and heat-treated
grid eliminates the need for a grid carrier during
storage, virtually eliminating shelf life.
Gages are supplied on glass slides with a tape
carrier - 5 per package. Installation methods
include flame sprayed ceramic rod or ceramic cement.
