Electrochemical Oxygen Sensors
A comprehensive line of replacement oxygen sensors compatible with
most incubators, ventilators and anesthesia breathing gas monitors.
The company also has extensive experience in design and manufacture
of proprietary, custom medical sensors.
IT’s electrochemical medical sensors meet or exceed most regulatory
standards worldwide. IT’s electrochemical medical sensors are
minimally affected by anaesthetic agents, and are characterized by
superior linearity, repeatability, reliability and short response
times.

Sport medicine
IT’s new fast oxygen sensors (FOS) feature response times of 150 or
500 ms. The FOS sensors enable breath-by-breath measurement of
oxygen concentration, and are primarily used with ergo-spirometers

SpO2 technology, Pulse oximetry
IT manufactures a complete line of reusable and disposable pulse
oximetry sensors as well as adapter and extension cables. These
sensors and accessories are compatible with most medical pulse
oximeter instruments available on the world market.
IT’s SpO2 sensors have proven to be accurate, comfortable and
durable. The new design diminishes interferences from external light
sources, which results in measurement precision, and provides
superior comfort to the patient.
Automotive Gas Analysis
IT offers a line of electrochemical NO and O2 sensors specifically
addressing the requirements of exhaust-gas analysis.
Our sensors have been designed to give high precision results under
harsh conditions (humidity, presence of corrosive gases). We produce
both replacement sensors with standard connectors to be integrated
in already working analysers and customer-tailored cells. If you are
looking for a specific product, let us design and manufacture it for
you. In particular cases we may also assist you with the design of
electronics to go with the sensor.
IT’s automotive cells meet or exceed Bar 97 and OIML. The oxygen
cells are approved against PTB-18.10.

Scuba Diving
IT manufactures electrochemical oxygen and carbon monoxide sensors
for use in analyzers for pre-dive confirmation of Nitrox or Trimix
mixtures. IT’s diving sensors are compatible with most Scuba Diving
equipment currently available on the world market.
IT’s diving sensors use an innovative membrane compound that
provides excellent water resistance under the harshest conditions.
IT’s diving sensors are extremely linear and stable, and meet or
exceed most worldwide regulatory standards.

Industrial Gas Monitoring
Electrochemical fuel cell technology is well suited for detecting
most industrial pollutants, including SO2 , CO, NO, NO2 and H2S.
IT’s toxic gas sensors are specifically designed for high precision
under the harsh conditions of emission gas monitoring and control.
IT also offers chemical filters to protect the sensors and optimize
their performances.
IT offers a wide range of oxygen sensors used for emission gas
monitoring and control. Our standard industrial oxygen sensors
measure in the range of 0 to 2% or 0 to 100%.
Electrochemical fuel cell technology is known to be the most
reliable, and IT’s new mechanical design, has achieved better
response times, longer life and smaller size for its sensors. In
contrast to other technologies, electrochemical cells are, also, the
most cost effective.

Food Processing Industry
IT offers sensors for use in modified atmosphere food packaging
(MAP), and in food storage applications. MAP requires that oxygen
levels do not exceed 1%. IT's sensors detect oxygen levels down to
10 ppm.
An essential feature for oxygen sensors used in food storage
monitoring (products such as cheese, fruit, beer or wine) is to
withstand high CO2 concentrations in modified atmospheres. IT’s
I-01, I-103 and I-14 sensors have consistently shown the best
resistance to CO2 and other acid gases while, at the same time,
providing an operating life of about 6 years in this application.

Safety
Oxygen sensors
IT industrial oxygen sensors assist in personnel safety when there
is the potential for toxic gas environments. Some environments
include the control of potentially explosive atmospheres by keeping
the oxygen concentration at a desired level, and insuring that
people working in confined work spaces will receive adequate, life
supporting levels of oxygen. IT produces a comprehensive line of
industrial oxygen sensors measuring oxygen levels between 10 ppm and
21%. IT's industrial oxygen sensors are characterized by superior
signal linearity, long term reliability and low interference from
other gases.

Toxic gases
Toxic gases measured with electrochemical galvanic cell technology
include CO, NOX , H2S and SO2. Any of these may be present in
confined work spaces following combustion, biological or chemical
processes.
IT manufactures toxic gas sensors according to the highest safety,
regulatory and industry standards. IT's toxic gas sensors are
characterized by high sensitivity, low interference, superior
accuracy and an extremely stable signal over time.

Mining
IT offers membrane CO sensors that can be employed in mine shaft
monitoring. These sensors need to be calibrated at the level at
which they will be operating. IT CO sensors are sensitive to the
partial pressure of the measured gas, which mean each sensor must be
calibrated under the same ambient pressure conditions in which it
will be operating.
