DSF series High Endurance Strain Gauge
This strain gauge is designed for fatigue test in
high stress level. The gauge satisfies the fatigue life
over 10 million times at a strain level of ±3000×10-6
strain. It is remarkably durable compared to
conventional strain gauges (1 million times at ±1500×10-6
strain).
In aerospace field, cyclic loading tests of composite
materials are often made under large strain. There,
strain gauges must be frequently replaced with new ones
depending on the fatigue life of the strain gauges.
