Baolab’s first NanoEMS™ product range will be a portfolio of ultra low cost motion sensors. Initial samples will be available mid 2011.
NanoEMS™ Motion Sensor product range will include:
- 3-axis Digital Compass (Magnetometer)
- 3-axis Digital Accelerometer
- 6-DOF (6 Degrees Of Freedom) Tilt-compensated Compass, which combines the Compass and Accelerometer on one chip in a single standard package.
All products leverage NanoEMS™ technology, integrating on a single-chip:

Power consumption is minimised across the range by providing active and standby power states, using built-in smart power control mechanisms to control both active power and transitions between power states, providing interrupt-based data transfer to minimise system-level power and by careful design to ensure ultra-low standby current.
NanoEMS™ technology means small, standard, low-cost packaging for all devices in the range.
