Fiber Pigtailed Photodiode for CATV
Description:
The 13PD75-F is a fiber pigtailed photodiode for high speed
and low noise voice and video communications. A streamlined
coaxial package with either singlemode or multimode fiber
provides efficient assembly in electronic boards. Reliability
is assured by true hermetic packaging, 100% purge burn-in
(200°C, −20VDC, 15hr), planar semiconductor design,
and dielectric passivation. The typical dark current is below
one nanoamp, and the frequency cutoff (−3 dB) is 1.5GHz.
Backreflection of the standard package is −20 dB, and
a low backreflection (-LBR option ) version at −55dB
is also offered. A high linearity version of the photodiode
(-HL option ) is available for CATV applications. Typical
intermodulation distortion products IMD2 and IMD3 (two tone
test, f1 = 400MHz, f2 = f1+ 50MHz, 1mW average power, 35%
OMI) are −80dBc and −85dBc, respectively.
