High data rate earth stations are used for transmitting video, data, and voice; familiar applications include point-of-transaction credit verification at Gas station pumps and retail stores.
Trends include the use of higher data rates, a move to higher transmitter powers, and increasing emphasis on cost.
Segments include C Band high capacity earth stations, C Band VSAT, Ku Band VSAT, and Ku Band mobile. CSSD provides C and Ku Band transceiver components.
