Today's announcement comes as part of an overall strategy dedicated to developing and innovating USB technology. And also figures prominently in ADI's commitment to the future of the award-winning MicroScan P Series monitors. Featuring the latest standard in CRT technology, precise controls and outstanding compatibility, the MicroScan 4P (15-inch, 13.8" viewable image), 5P+ and 5PD (17-inch, 16" viewable image) are high-contrast digital color monitors that set stringent standards to suit the computing demands of business, desktop publishing and multimedia users for a complete multimedia and business teleconferencing solution. The monitors incorporate the intuitive EasyScreen on screen display, power saving functionality, as well as multimedia features such as built-in microphone and optional attachable speakers. The MicroScan 4P, 5P+ and 5PD are also incorporated with a monitor control software that allows users to make OSD adjustments right from a mouse. The optional USB hub with one upstream and four downstream ports integrated into the base of the P series realizes the true hot plug and play functionality. The monitors meet the most stringent TCO 95 labeling scheme and adheres to EPA, VESA DPMS, and NUTEK industry standards for power-saving functionality. The MicroScan 4PWith an ultra-fine 0.28 mm dot-pitch, 31-69 kHz horizontal scanning range, and 110 Mhz video bandwidth, the 15-inch MicroScan 4P displays a maximum non-interlaced resolution of 1280 x 1024 @ 60Hz. The MicroScan 5P+In the 17-inch category of professional series monitors, the MicroScan 5P+ is designed for both home and office users. With 16-inch diagonal viewable image and dot pitch of 0.26 mm, it displays high-fidelity flicker-free color images at a maximum resolution of 1280 x 1024 @ 60 Hz. It has horizontal frequency of 30-69 kHz. The MicroScan 5PD - The Deluxe versionThe new MicroScan 5PD is for people who demand ultra high resolution images for their work or entertainment uses. The 17-inch MicroScan 5PD, featuring 0.26 mm dot pitch, can reach maximum resolution of 1600 x 1200@65 Hz. With its horizontal frequency up to 81 kHz, and high video bandwidth at 172 Mhz, the MicroScan 5PD is definitely a powerful monitor according to professional standards...or any standards.
